Ideally situated at the heart of Dorset′s world Heritage Jurassic coastline. The Lugger Inn is a traditional village pub with locals bar, restaurant, function room/skittle alley, beer garden and accommodation. The Lugger is located on West Street in the village of Chickerell, 3 miles west of Weymouth in Dorset. Chickerell is on the picturesque coast road between Weymouth and Bridport.

You’ll find something for everyone in our extensive seasonal menus. Fresh locally sourced ingredients are cooked to order by top local chefs.

Lugger favourites such as beer battered fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce, homemade lasagne and handmade pies are firm favourites, and the famous Lugger chicken burger is not to be missed.

With plenty to choose from for vegetarian and vegan diners, mini soul meals for our young visitors and a specials board offering something different each week you’ll find yourself eating with us again and again.

Why not book in for a delicious Sunday roast with the family or secure a table at lunch time to enjoy a jacket potato or tasty flatbreads with friends.

Went to watch the England U.S.A game & grab a bite to eat. We hadn't booked & the landlord - Liam was hospitable and helpful.. even treated the dog to a biscuit! They managed to accommodate and find us a table for food whilst we watched the game.. Burger and chips was homemade and delicious. Warm inviting atmosphere. Reasonably priced for the current climate. We popped up for their first Mexican food day. Safe to say it was absolutely fantastic, the portion sizes were huge and the taste was delightful. The service is friendly and the staff are always smiling. Drinks wise the choices are wide ranging, some lovely draft beers. This is the best pub in Chickerell, hands down.
